A-Lofts are comfortable, functional, and iconic trekking cabins where travellers can rest and recover along Iceland's trails.
Iceland has diverse landforms that attract tourists year-round. An example is the Laugavegur Trek that traverses twelve different types of
landcover that includes moors and healthland, dunes, rock, glaciers, and bogs. The pyramidal form is inspired by Iceland's rock
formations and traditional Glaumbaer, and then lifted to reduce their footprint, make them easy to install, and create a sheltered outdoor area
beneath.

A storage space, small kitchen and washroom occupy the lower level, and a ladder accesses bunk beds staggered between the walls above.
The lofts are made of prefabricated timber and insulated panels that are brought and assembled on site.
The outermost cladding can change to compliment different landscapes. Windows cut at the base and the roof offer
views to the land and to the sky and allow for efficient ventilation. The lofts are designed to be clustered and joined by a light canopy
